Approach

From ambition sketch to target architecture

Every engagement starts with a drawing, not a quote.
A shared diagram beats forty pages of specifications.

A 30-minute call

Your context, your tools, your ambitions, what's blocking you. Free, no strings attached, on video.

The ambition sketch

We draw the business ambition together: what the system must enable, not a list of equipment.

Target architecture

The diagram that describes the target: links, flows, integrations, costs. With scope, timeline and budget.

Delivery & handover

Short cycles, systematic documentation: your teams stay autonomous after I leave.

About

François-Henri Brisson

François-Henri Brisson

First a master control and post-production technician, then a broadcast engineer turned Broadcast Solution Architect, I've spent 20 years on both sides of the fence: in master control and post-production (Transatlantic, ARTE, Africa 24, QVC France), then with the vendors and integrators that equip the media industry (Vizrt, Dolby, MediaPower, TAG Video Systems, qibb).

That dual culture, operations and vendor, lets me translate business needs into architectures that hold up in production, and get teams speaking the same language.

Today I help European broadcasters, vendors and integrators design automated, hybrid, cost-driven media workflows, with one conviction: AI is transforming the media supply chain, but only when it stands on solid integration foundations.

Frequently asked questions

What I get asked most often.

What does a Broadcast Solution Architect do?

They design the architecture of media production and delivery systems: translating a business need (a channel, a platform, a studio) into a technical architecture that holds up in production, from choosing the building blocks and integrating systems (MAM, playout, streaming, monitoring) to automating workflows and supporting the teams who operate it.

Do you work freelance, and in which regions?

Yes, I am a freelance Broadcast Solution Architect based in France. I work across France and the whole EMEA region, on-site or remote, in French and in English.

What kinds of projects?

Architecture audits and blueprints, pre-production, production, post-production and delivery: I know the entire technical chain inside out. MAM, infrastructure, playout and distribution, streaming and SMPTE 2110, stream monitoring, media workflow automation, and AI for media: automatic indexing, transcription, quality control and archive valorization.

How does an engagement start?

With a 30-minute video call: you walk me through your context and get an honest, no-strings opinion. If we continue, the engagement starts with a short scoping phase, usually an architecture diagram, before any quote.
